Reflection is a project in process, which investigates user-system agency relations.

What is interaction? What happens when the interactor immerges in the space of the installative project? What does he see? What control does the project have over the interactor? What control does the interactor have over the project? My research has been developing in the indefatigable search for answers to questions that have consumed me. These questions always lead to other questions, an infinite path of bifurcations, made real in the form of installations, objects.

The most recent projects have a very strong physical-emotional experience, provoked by the audience participation, in situations of surprise, of disorientation, in a tension between the real and the image, where the visitor is transformed into his own observer, in the limit (infinite) of not being identifiable. However, there are times, moments influencing relations which require presence, individuals which are the only one to bestow existence to the intervention. These effects occur when we least expect them, as if the reality of our perception has come to elude us. A framework that supposes the reversibility of looks/ I look at it and it looks at me. The spectator and the image become one. I am outside while, at the same time, inside. This uncomfortable posture defines our entire experience, when what we see opens what sees us.

In this implementation, the projection of numbers occurs on the wall and the reflection in a reflecting pool, but the interaction takes place in one of two ways, on the body of the interactor depending upon his position in the interactive space (when his shadow is projected on the wall and the project itself is behind him), and on an interactive keyboard, with which the user modifies the speed of the rise/fall of the numbers on the projection. With this the relations are modified, being that someone else, and not only the individual can alter and interact with the project. It is not the passing through a sensor that modifies the speed of the rise/fall of the projection, but someone who is activating the keyboard in any way that he pleases and, thus, alters his own perception as well as that of everyone in the room.
